Dr. Skinner grew up in Cardson Alberta Canada. He moved to Cache Valley to get his bachelors in science degree in biology. While at Utah State University he fell in love with all that Logan has to offer. He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry. He and his family returned to Logan, Utah where he has spent the past several years building his own dental practice and deepening ties to the community.
Dr. Skinner prides himself on building a relationship of trust with his patients and making every effort to make his patients feel as comfortable as possible from the first time they sit in the chair. Dr. Skinner is consistently attending various continuing educating courses with topics ranging from restorative and cosmetic dentistry to full mouth reconstruction and implant dentistry. Dr. Skinner’s primary goal is to offer the highest level of patient care with the latest equipment so that you can maintain the health of your teeth and gums and the beauty of your smile.
Dr. Skinner has many interests outside of dentistry. His favorite is spending time with his family.
I have worked with Dr. Skinner as his office manager for over a decade. I have lived in Cache Valley my entire life and I love living in such a beautiful valley–I call Clarkstown my home now. Between time with my family (3 boys) and working in a dental office, I’m always on the run. Aside from my work at Gentle Family Dental, I love spending lots of time with my family.
I love working for Dr. Skinner, he is an amazing dentist and a great employer. We all strive to make your dental experience the best possible. Making lasting relationships is my favorite part about my job. I love the people I get to call my work family and all the amazing patients I call my friends.
By my age, you wouldn’t believe that I’ve worked in dentistry for almost 15 years. My dad was a dentist and I assisted him while in high school. I loved working as a dental assistant then just as I love it now.
Even through I grew up in Wisconsin, I’m happy to call Logan my home. I started working as an assistant, moved to the front desk and now I’m thrilled at working as an assistant again.
I love to greet all of our patients and make new friends (by far my favorite part of my job) and I love the variety of all the things I get to do assisting Dr. Skinner during the day. He’s a great dentist that has built an amazing practice!… I love the people that I work with at Gentle Family Dental!
I have always wanted to work in a medical-related field and found a great fit in dentistry. I love being a dental assistant! Having the opportunity to instruct patients on proper oral health and seeing patients smile is my favorite part of working in Dr. Skinner dental office.
My family, my husband and me, live in Logan where I went to Dental Assisting school. I was born in Las Vegas, NV but I’m happy to say that I grew up here in Logan, Utah!

I love living in Cache Valley! I grew up in Nibley, Utah and didn’t move very far–just north to Smithfield. I went to Dental Assisting School in Logan so I could stay close to family and now that I’m married, I hope to stay close.
I had braced as a teenager and was fascinated at how much teeth can change one’s mouth and confidence and that’s about when I decided that dentistry and oral health was the field that I wanted to work in. Now I’m a Dental Assistant and I love it!
I love seeing relief from pain and watching Dr. Skinner make a difference in emergency dental cases. I think it’s amazing how we can treat almost all dental cases in the office because of Dr. Skinner’s talents as a dentist.
Working with patients is my number one reason that I love working in the field of dentistry!
This probably sounds weird but I absolutely LOVED my childhood dentist. Going to our six month dental checks ups were magical, fun and exciting. He was an amazing person and the dental environment was like no other–until I interviewed with Dr. Skinner.
I grew up in Salt Lake City but moved to Tremonton, Utah. I’m not surprised that many of my neighbors in Tremonton visit Dr. Skinner because his office is a lot like my childhood dental office. I’ve met patients that travel from Smithfield, Garland, Preston, ID, Soda Springs, ID and Brigham City, UT. As the Dental Patient Coordinator, I get to meet all the patients and I enjoy to hear about where they’re from and why they chose Dr. Skinner.
Daily social interactions with the dental patients is one of the best parts of my day–and working with Stacey and happy and nice people that work here that I call “the dental girls”!
I graduated from Weber State 4 years ago. I was raised in Salt Lake and have been in Cache Valley working for Dr. Skinner since graduating. I enjoy working with all our wonderful patients and helping to improve your dental awareness and make your experience great. I love time with my children, outside of Dental Hygiene, my time is spent with my family.
I grew up here in Cache Valley. I received my bachelor of science in Dental Hygiene from Weber State University in 2016. After traveling for 2 summers I settled back in Cache Valley where I want to stay and have worked with Dr. Skinner for almost a year now. I love Dental Hygiene because I love helping people improve their smiles. I also love the relationships I get to build with each and everyone of our patients.
